Hello all

I have two bits of news for you tonight.

1st is that i have given up smoking (yet again!) Day 4 now.

2nd is that i have lost another 2lbs at Weight Watchers this week! making a total weight loss of 1 stone 3lbs! Ooh, just think of all the chocs i will be able to treat myself to at christmas! Hehe.

Nothing much else to report really, being made to do lots of overtime at work, so am really tired, so will keep it short and sweet tonight.

Just been bombarded by kids at the gate! Hehe, they got some fab costumes. Well, the pumpkins carved out (went for a smiley face this year) and sat on the mantelpiece, the fire's lit and just waiting for the horror flicks to start. Hehe.

Hello, its been a long time eh?
Gosh wot to write? Its been so long i couldnt possibly write everything ive done in the last 2years here. Well....I could, but i doubt anyone would read it.

What has happened in the last 2 years?
I met my new fella, Paul. Moved in with him. Got engaged to him.
Got a new job. Left new job. Started another new job.

Wow, i really can not think of anything else to put! Hehe.

I am still reading and expanding my knowledge of Wicca, Spirituality, Angels, Natural healing etc. If anyone knows of any really informative sites, please let me know.

Hi everyone.
Hope you are all well? Its been another busy week for me. On Saturday me and a friend walked from Kerry into Bishops Castle, 12 miles!!! I was quite stiff and sore the next day but it felt really good. ve started collecting sponsers for my charity walk in June and i've got £186.50 already!! I cant believe how generous everyone has been.
I went to see my old employers from the pub in their new pub on Monday, its such a cosy little place and only 20mins down the road from me, so i will probably be popping over there more often.

Hi everyone, hope you are all well?

Its been a hectic weekend for me. On Friday i went to watch a friend play in a darts tournament which was brilliant, but he lost in the quarter finals to his best mate. ouch. It was a late nite too as i didnt make it home until 1.30am. Saturday my uncle from Luton arrived, its always great to see him. I ended up leaving the pub again at 1.30am.

On Sunday i took my mum, dad and uncle up to Staylittle, where we will be starting the Across Wales Walk, even i didnt realise how many hills there are to walk across hehe. We had lunch in town then went up to the Anchor which is the main mountain/hill above our village Kerry, we walked along part of the Ridgeway which is the old Drovers road, the views from up there are amazing, you can see a good 50miles away on a good day.

At 2.30pm we headed back into the village to the pub, i stayed there until 7pm when i went to another pub called Caerhowl for a birthday meal with friends and the food was amazing. Little did we know that there was an Ann Summers party in the back room, me and my friend got dragged in and we had such a good time, met lots of new friends, it was great.
We managed to get back to our local at 11.30pm and had a little private birthday party for my friend and i didnt get home until 2.30am!!
Monday was really hard work, i was sooo tired i nearly nodded off at my computer hehe. Im quite surprised i managed to make it into work after the amount of alcohol i'd consumed hehe.

I took Nikki on another bike ride on Tuesday which was really good, the sun was shining in Nikki's eyes hehe, i had my sunglasses on hehe.
I went for another bike ride today, but didnt manage to go very far as i think my legs were tired from yesterday.

Well i think this blog entry should keep you all entertained for a little while, i think its the longest one i've done hehe.

Hello everyone!

Big apologies for not updating for a while, things have been pretty hectic lately, ive started doing shifts in the local pub for some extra cash/beer money hehe.

Where to start? Work is going ok at the moment, mainly thanks to Nick who helps keep me sane and smiling! Thanks nick.

Congratulations go out to Graham and Kati! Glad you both had a good time :)

Im off to watch our local darts singles tournament tomorrow night, a good friend of mine is playing (he won it 2yrs ago), so really looking forward to that.
My uncle from London is coming up at the weekend so another busy one.

Hi guys, just a liitle update tonight, im tired.

Well the weekend was pretty cool. As some of you know, i went to a line dancing disco and fundraiser, it was good fun, although i drank too much beer and accidentally hit some poor woman in the face. I was so embarrassed! It was so cramped in the hall, we were all dancing on top of each other.

Anyhow, work is ok at the moment, Nick keeps cheering me up! Thanks mate!

Well its Friday! The start of many of your weekends and almost the end of mine :(

I've had a really good day today, i popped into town this morning and bumped into so many people i havent seen for ages, it was great! I met up with an old schoolfriend that i havent seen for years! (we exchanged numbers, so we can meet and catch up wiv each other).

Just for the record, i AM shy!! Well when i first meet someone anyway. I always feel nervous and dont know what to say. But when i get to know people im not quite so shy! :P

My weekend!!

Hello all, sorry about not being around for a while, damn that sky tv!! Hehe. Well what news have i got? Well first off, i have met Nick at work, he is so sweet, i didnt know what to expect when i met him, i was really nervous (im shy). Talked to him quite a bit now, mainly through e-mail. He is really sweet and very friendly! (am i making you blush yet Nick?) hehe.

Im at work at the moment on my lunch break, so thought that i would get an update started, i will finish it later when i finish work.
We have had quite a bit of snow over the last week or so, but it doesnt seem to hang around for long :(
I am back on my nicotine patches again after a re-lapse, currently on day 4. my total weight loss so far is 1 stone and 1lb!!! I am really pleased.
My brain has died now so i will continue this later at home.

Ok, work was quite slow for the last hour or two :) Still dont have much to say, so i think i will leave it for tonight.

Its the weekend!

I know i havnt updated in a while, sorry guys. Ive been pre-occupied with our new Sky TV. hehe, and ive been poorly again! I dont know why i catch all the bugs going around, i eat lots of fruit, get fresh air (most of the time). I must have a low immune system.

Well...what can i talk about? Oh i know.. snow!!! Wahey. Its mostly gone now from round here, pretty icy though. We're supposed to have more this weekend.

We have recently had Sky TV installed, hence my not updating for a while hehe. I've been watching all sorts till very late in the night. Still the novelty will wear off soon, i hope lol.

Cant think of anything else to say at the moment, its been a pretty uneventful week, due to me spending most of it in bed with the TV. (not physically in bed with the TV, hehe).

Monday Again!

Ive not much to say tonight. This last week has been pretty uneventful. Went hill walking last Wednesday, 5 miles all uphill! I was pretty exhausted after but really glad i'd done it. Was aching quite a bit on Thursday hehe. I then went to the pub for the rest of the day! Why cant i keep out of the pub?!

My appointment with the student hairdresser went well! No mistakes Graeme! Hehe. My hair was lovely when i came out 2 hours later! I was getting quite bored sitting in the chair for that long, but it was worth it! That night (Friday) me and Nikki had a chinese and watched Serenity, i quite enjoyed it. Parts of it reminded me of other films ive seen, and other bits were quite unexpected. I went to Town later on and ended up in our local, small nightclub. I think i strolled in at 3am!

i watched the Liverpool V Man Utd footie game on Saturday, wow what a game it was! Last time i saw that much injury i was watching rugby, hehe. I hope the Man Utd player has a speedy recovery from his broken leg and dislocated ankle! (Ouch).

Wow i've managed to ramble on about something tonight so i guess i did have something to say after all! Hehe.

Monday blues

Well...its Monday again.

I really struggled to get out of bed this morning. I'm still trying to find another job (with no luck). Im not really that fussy what job i get, as long as i get out of the call centre.

Anyways, im feeling better now, just a little tired. Ive booked a hair appointment for Friday, so looking forward to that. my local hairdresser has a 1st year student wanting models to practise on. Wash, blow dry and straightening for £5! It normally cost £20-£30!

Not much to say tonight, so i will keep this short and sweet.

Tuesday 7th February.

Today is my 26th birthday (getting on a bit now) hehe. Last night i went to one of my locals to see in my birthday with a few friends. Several drinks, a bottle of champagne and lots of laughing later, i ended crawling home at 1.30am! Then stayed up watching Invasion that i had recorded earlier.

Bit delicate this morning when i awoke at 11am!!! Opened my cards etc. My friend Donna and her fella took me to an American Diner near Leominster for my birthday meal! It was fantastic!! :)

Just got home and getting ready to go back out to meet some more friends for drinks. My social life has gone through the roof lately, hehe.

Havent done much exercising the last week, coz of my cold. Have organised to go walking tomorrow to burn off all the calories consumed today.

Wednesday

Ive been poorly this week, stinking cold, sore throat etc. Feeling a little better today though.

OK, the week so far. My nephew Ryan got christened on Sunday, i was associate godmother (which basically means im his godmother, but not in the eyes of the church, coz i havent been christened myself). It was a really busy day, with all the relatives arriving, sorting out the food, and looking after the kids! I was at home in my pj's by 6pm! I was exhausted.

Had Monday and Tuesday off work sick, as it really is no fun working in a call centre all day with a bad throat, pounding headache and earache! As i said though i am feeling better today, so i will go back to work tomorrow.

My new TV arrived this morning! Wahey! Its a flat screen one, and i love it!! My old one had a yellow tint to it, and kept flickering so i got rid of it before it blew up on me!

Saw a piece about the Cloud Appreciation Society on Richard & Judy this afternoon, some really gorgeus clouds on there! Check it out!

Not much else to say at the moment so i will say ta ta for now.

Naughty Girl

Saturday

I have been sooo naughty this week, i have been smoking, drinking and generally having a good time :)
I have been really good with my walking though, i walked 3 miles on Wednesday and also went out on my bike for a short, wobbly ride (my butt still hurts from the seat!!) and i walked about 6 miles on Thursday. I can feel a difference in my level of fitness already.

My nephew gets christened tomorrow, i am also going to be his Godmother (how scary). All our relatives from Luton have come up, i havent seen some of them for years so really looking forward to spending the day with them all tomorrow.

Im going to have an early night for a change, 4 o'clock i got to bed last night! I ended up watching the Austrailian Open tennis final between Amelie Mauresmo and Justine Henin-Hardenne. It must be so hard to win something because your opponent has to withdraw. I really felt for Justine.

Any hows im off to chill out infront of the TV, which is playing up at the moment, ive had to order a new one (flat screen!). The colour and quality is really dodgy and i think its gonna blow up soon, we have had it for well over 10 years im sure.

Blog Olympics

Not much to say this evening so this will be short and sweet.

Went for another 5mile walk on Friday morning, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. I went walking with my dog Cindy and Anastacia on my walkman. Ive posted some pictures of my walk on Flickr, some of them are quite dark looking coz as soon as i headed for home, it went cloudy and rained!

My mother bought Nikki's bike off her for me for my birthday (7th Feb) which put a smile on my face. I did try it out when i got home (I havent been on a bike for years) started off a little wobbly but did manage to stay on. Nikki came round Saturday night to watch Alone in the Dark, i enjoyed it but thought the ending could have had a little more substance to it.

Went to work this morning :( well i guess someone has to work on a Sunday! Glad when i got home :) My Dad is working at Morrisons tonight (stocktake) so when i pick him up at 9pm we are gonna have a Chinese takeaway to make up for not having a Sunday roast! :)

Came across the Blog Olympics tonight, check it out, looks fun.

Tuesday.

The week so far... Had a late nite Saturday night, Nikki's fault. She bought me Jim Butcher Storm Front for christmas....and im hooked!

Sunday! I watched the Darts final!! Wow what a final! Raymond Van Barnevald V's Jelle Klaasen. Congratulations to Jelle who won 7-5!! Fantastic, i was on the edge of my seat all the way through!

Tv programs ive really enjoyed this week are Invasion on S4C, loved this, about aliens and stuff. Great! Surface which was on Saturday afternoon about Sea Monsters and Sea of Souls on BBC1, wow that was really creepy but brilliant!

I have lost 6lbs this week! Feeling great! Ive lost a total of 8lbs now and have lost 5cms off my waist! Really pleased with myself!

Anyway, im off to read some more of my new book. So farewell for now!

Exhausted

Thursday

Busy day today. I worked until 7pm then had college 7-8pm then went to darts till 9.30pm then picked my Dad up from work then home! Im exhausted, im surprised im updating this time of night! (10.50pm)

I had a job interview today for a place in our Admin dept. I think it went well, but i wont hear anything until next week so i will let you know what happens!

You will all be pleased to hear that ive been doing lots of walking recently (The only new years resolution i seem to have really stuck to). Oh..nearly forgot, ive also lost 2lbs this week! Im really pleased its starting to go my way.

Im even more tired now, so i will catch up with you all over the weekend!

A Grand Day Out

Friday was both mine and my Dad's day off, so what did we do?... Went to the coast of course! Big thanks to Nikki who gave us a lift to the train station, and picked us up again later! Thanks Nik! We arrived in Aberystwyth at 11.20pm and decided to walk up around the Castle ruins. It was very cold and windy but we had a great time.

After Fish & Chips in the Dolphin (which were very nice!) we went for another walk around the town before heading to Wetherspoons for a couple of pints! Well... 4 to be exact.

When we got home, we went to our local pub! Why? I dont know... We ended up going back to town for a chinese. We both spent a fortune! Im never drinking again!

Time to get back to some form of normality i suppose. Boo Hoo. I would like to thank everyone for welcoming me to the world of blogging. Sorry if i havent been updating very often, but ive had some technical difficulties (and im still learning).

New Years Resolutions for 2006!

- To completely give up cigarettes! I have given up for 2 months but still seem to be sneaking the odd one when i go out on the beer!

- To cut down on the amount of alcohol i consume! Which i suspect will help with the latter!

- To lose weight! Im far too overweight (christmas choccy's and cake dont help!)

- To get fit! I am sooo lazy, i need someone standing over me with a whip to get me into shape! Its my good fortune then that i have a fitness freak friend to help! I have also decided to keep me on track that i am going to sign up for the Across Wales Walk! All 46 miles of it! (What am i doing?)

Isnt it funny how all of these resolutions seem to tie in together?! I will keep you all up to date on my progress.

Boy oh boy, what a week!

Apologies for not updating my blog this week. My computer crashed on me, causing massive stress and headaches! I had to restore my PC back to its original state (Im never buying a 2nd hand pc again!).

Anyway, wot have i been up to? I had a stinking cold at the beginning of the week, so had a couple days off work. Feeling much better now. My line dancing christmas party went very well on Thursday, i got quite drunk thou, hehe. I took some pics but forgot to get one of me dancing! Doh!

Had a really good night last nite with Nikki, we had a takeaway then watched a film and an episode of Angel. Got home about 11pmish then wrote my xmas cards out! I must have been mad! I put the tv on for background noise, and got hooked watching another film, it was 1.30am before i got to sleep. I had work today! Ive been a little dopey , but thats nothing new!

Im having a few problems with my computer at the moment, but im on the case. I dont have anything else to say tonight, so i will vall it a night.

Saturday

Well i wish i hadnt got up on Friday, it was a nitemare. I went to Argos to buy a new printer that prints photo's, scans and copy's. When i got there it was heaving, there must have been 20 people in the queue, so i joined the queue and waited nearly 20mins to get near the tills. When there was only 3 people left in front of me i decided i'd better get my argos card out (im skint thats why i was using it) only to find.....it wasnt in my purse!! I nearly died. Anyway...i stuck my hand in my bag and brought out my mobile and pretended that someone had just rung me!! I left the queue pretty fast shouting "im on my way!" into the phone! Well i raced home in embarrasment, and as i was telling my Dad (who was crying with laughter!) i found the bloody card in the back of my purse!!! I couldn't believe it was there all the time!
Things like that are happening to me more and more lately! Hehe.

Ive finally hoovered my room today, and put the Christmas Decorations up!!! Ive got two sets of fairy lights up and it looks like santa's grotto!! I love it!
Well i will love you and leave you on that note as im off to Nixy's tonight for a takeout and filmfest! Catch you all later!

Day Off

Thursday.
Wednesday was my day off, and i had a great lie in!. I had started preparing my bedroom for the hundreds of christmas decorations that i put up every year. I didnt realise my bedroom was so dusty!! I will have to sack the cleaner, hehe. I decided not to overdo it, so i did the dusting a little tidying and re-arranging, ready to hoover on Friday. (Then the decs can go up!!)
I love christmas sooo much, i just turn into a five year old.

I agreed to do overtime at work Last night, but its been pretty quite lately, and was easy money! But was rather boring.

I have been visiting the sites of people who have commented my blog and i've got one for the ladies! ;) Huw has a great site full of lots of interesting info. Although it wont let me sign in to comment for some reason so i will have to keep trying.

Went to college after work tonight. Im doing GCSE Psychology, i still cant seem to get my head around studying after all this time. hehe

Well im off to bed now, coz im shattered. Hello to everyone that comes across this page!

Day two.
A pretty average day as far as days go today. Quite slow at work, i dont finish till 6.30pm on Tuesdays. Then at 7pm i go Line Dancing! We have been practising for our christmas party, which is next week! (im so nervous) Im doing a dance this year with the beginners group to a beach boys song! Im just glad that the dance will be after the dinner so i get to neck a few beers first!
Nothing really happened today, such is my boring life, although i do have a funny story. I had a customer call me this evening saying she was waiting for her ceiling light to arrive, she did have a parcel arrive that morning but it wasnt her light! Our warehouse had only sent her a mug instead of a light! How stupid can people be? Im glad that she was friendly though! We had a little giggle about it then.
Well now that Im a celebrity has finished i dont know what to so with myself! Im used to running home to watch it, the crowning of Carol Thatcher seemed to be an anti climax. Please tell me there are others out there that have been glued to the show as well as me?

Ive run out of things to say now so i shall leave you all in peace for a while.

I would like to welcome myself to the wonderful world of blogs (i hope thats the correct term, i dont want to sound like a complete blog virgin!) hehe.
I have 10 mins left of my working day, and boy will i be glad to get home! I work in a call centre and have had nothing but moaning customers all day!! At this rate i will become an alcoholic!
Well i guess i should introduce myself to anyone that reads this, my name is Sarah, i am 25 yrs old and live in Mid Wales (in the hills! With the sheep!) hehe.
I am pretty new to blogs, url's etc, so i do hope you will all bear with me till i get myself up to speed on the internet.
It is now 8.30pm and im keeping a sharp eye on the time as i dont want to miss I'm a celebrity Final!! I think Sid will win, he's taken to life in the jungle so easily (and he's real cute too!) Well i think i will call it a night as far as blogs go. (dont want to overdo it on my first entry!)
